Last night we had a little bit of snow which is unusual for Atlanta. It sure was pretty! I went to college in Ohio and sometimes I miss having feet of snow to goof off in.

In other news, the Atlanta Craft Mafia kick off event is coming fast! Here’s the press release:

I try not to be materialistic… I don’t need a lot of gadgets to be happy, but let me say that for a toy that I never would have bought myself, I sure love this Touch a lot. It’s like the future! But without hovercars.

Golly, before it’s even off the ground, this poor blog has been neglected. The holidays are absurd in terms of organization and keeping things together.

I guess the only interesting recent news is from yesterday…It started out crappy but really managed to turn itself around.
First, I got a really nice note on etsy from a girl who makes awesome stuff and is a big seller complimenting me on my stuff and my shop. That was pretty great!

Then… I won an iPod Touch at the work Christmas party!!! Holy crap! I never win anything! I guess all the not so great moments of 2007 decided to make it up to me, all at once. Thanks, universe!

I’m frustrated this morning because I spent a lot of time updating my bio on etsy, but I included spaces in my favorite materials list so it didn’t save. I don’t have the energy to redo it till this afternoon.

Listing things in the etsy shop

Morning!

I finally got around to listing a few things in my Etsy shop. I seemed to have broken through my crafter’s block last night and I have some good ideas that I can’t wait to get home and try out. After a trip to the hardware store, that is…

Finally, I am going to try and include a link to something useful or awesome with each post. This time it’s the Rag and Bone blog. Rag and Bone Bindery makes some of the most beautiful bound books (I love alliteration!) I have ever seen. Not cheap… but awesome nonetheless.
